DOG BITE TREATMENT

Dog Bite Treatment

Bite Inspection & Wound Care

Minor scrapes or scratches from our pets are fairly standard and are easy to manage. However, a full bite from a dog can pose an issue if it is not properly cared for. Dog mouths, like those with other animals, are hosts for germs and bacteria. The biggest cause of concern with a dog bite is infection, so carefully cleaning the wound is a must.

Pediatric Urgent Care of Rochester physicians will evaluate the dog bite and set up an appropriate treatment plan.
